About the Company

The Rio de Janeiro Magistrates’ Mutual Association is a non-profit mutual assistance association, focused exclusively on magistrates in the State of Rio de Janeiro. Founded with the aim of promoting solidarity among its members, the organization offers financial, social and welfare support to its members and their dependents.

With ethical, transparent management and commitment to the values ​​of the judiciary, the Mutual Association seeks to guarantee security and support in times of need, through benefits such as financial aid, supplementary pension plans, insurance, as well as initiatives aimed at the well-being and quality of life of its members.

The Mutual Association’s work strengthens the bonds of union between magistrates, promoting mutual protection and contributing to the career development and social balance of its members.

About the Auditorium Project

The project by architects @Luize Matera and @Christiame Abimadia goes beyond aesthetics: Comfort and technology come together in a unique space. A project designed in every detail to offer a complete experience with acoustic comfort, visual comfort and accessibility: the three pillars and the armchairs.

Acoustic comfort – Perfect insulation and quality sound

The auditorium was designed as a true acoustic bubble of silence amidst the noise of the city. Therefore, external sound was completely isolated and the interior was designed to absorb what is not important and enhance what is important – such as the voice on stage reaching the audience cleanly.

Parallel acoustic frames and original windows block external noise. Internal walls are covered with absorbent materials and the ceiling has floating acoustic panels angled to reflect sound correctly.

Visual comfort – clear view of the stage and lighting

Everyone deserves to see what’s happening on stage, without anyone’s head getting in the way. That’s why the floor was raised and the seats were distributed at different levels. The lighting was also carefully designed, with scenes adjusted to each type of event. Versatile lighting allows you to create different atmospheres, depending on the moment.

Accessibility – Inclusive structure and seating designed for everyone

Making the auditorium accessible is essential, which is why it was designed to accommodate all types of people, with ramps, space for wheelchair users and people with obesity. Wide circulation areas and handrails on all levels, true inclusion, as it should be.

It’s never just sitting

Very comfortable armchairs with additional construction details (micro-perforated backrest) to contribute to acoustics. Armchairs with a noble finish – wooden arms – for a better ambiance. Seat folding mechanism for improved internal circulation.

The result? A modern, functional environment prepared for great experiences.
