About the company
Operating in Brazil since 1931, Wayne Fueling Systems was founded in the United States in 1891 as Wayne Oil Tank Company, and soon stood out as a leader in the fight against fraud due to sophisticated control, measurement and security technology in fueling systems. In 2016, Wayne was merged into Dover Fueling Solutions. For more than 90 years, the Rio unit has been responsible for manufacturing and providing supply solutions for Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“Wayne Rio de Janeiro had the same furniture since 1990 and decided to “rejuvenate” the corporate space, bringing modernity and comfort to people. The challenge was to integrate, optimize and bring characteristics of nature into the environment”, comments Wellington Braga, responsible for all management of the office renovation.
About the project
The work platforms are from Marelli’s WORK line, for which the Pett Capellato designer specified light and neutral colors with a very special touch, which were the customized “flower boxes” with a curved design, featuring a botanical silhouette, where they were placed. permanent plants
with the aim of bringing to the environment, in addition to beauty, calm, productivity, stimulation of learning and creativity.
A common area was created with Cavaletti sofas and tables, integrated with the staff area, providing a comfortable space for a break or more relaxed conversation and even receiving customers and suppliers.
Another highlight of this project were the acoustic cabins from MINIMAL’s BINE line, perfectly integrated into the environment with light wood covering and glass doors, which complete the set of furniture in a very satisfactory way and create important spaces for confidential conversations, concentration for work specific and/or international conversations with complete comfort and tranquility.
The furniture project integrated the spaces, creating synergy between people and bringing comfort and ergonomics. In addition to supporting the entire logic, electrical and telephony infrastructure, the workstations gained special supports where flower boxes were installed, bringing joy and aspects of biophilia, as well as beauty.
“The Pett Capellato project was the starting point and inspiration for our Branding project, planned so that the essence of our brand was perceived in all spaces, driving both the visitor’s and the employee’s experience across the different areas from the company.” reinforces Flavio Werneck, Marketing and Projects Manager at Dover Fueling Solutions.
Conclusion
The project support, compliance with contracted deadlines, the assembly team, as well as the supply of customized products and even some specific goods (flowers, lamps) purchased at our request were the most positive highlights, in addition to the quality of the furniture and sofas.
With this support, we at WAYNE Rio were able to dedicate ourselves to aspects of civil works, flooring, lining and others with substantial savings in time and energy. All civil work was conducted by the Wayne Rio team, with items of high relevance for our entire Brazil operation, which is why the support of the PettCapellato team was fundamental to the success of the project as a whole.
