About the Company
Rede d1000 is a drugstore chain formed through the acquisition of the Drogasmil, Farmalife, Drogarias Tamoio, and Drogaria Rosário brands. We have over 250 stores throughout Rio de Janeiro, the Federal District, and Mato Grosso. All of our brands have been present in their respective regions for over 40 years and, together, with approximately 4,100 employees, serve over 2.5 million consumers per month.
Our platform—with its multiple and complementary positions—allows us to explore the particularities and needs of all social classes in Brazil, pioneering a unique, popular model that respects the characteristics of each region.
In just seven years, we created the ninth-largest chain in terms of revenue within Abrafarma (the Brazilian Association of Pharmacy and Drugstore Chains), and we achieved a leadership position in our main areas of operation, ranking among the leading chains in the Federal District and Rio de Janeiro.
It is part of the Profarma Group, which began its journey in 1961 with Profarma Distribuidora de Produtos – currently the second-largest distributor in the country – and has been listed on the Novo Mercado B3 since 2006. As part of this company, we benefit from several competitive advantages of this integrated model: distribution and retail.
These include: daily deliveries; reduced working capital requirements by utilizing the distributor’s inventory; leveraging administrative synergies through the Shared Services Center (CSC); low Capex requirements for distribution centers; tax efficiency; and increased bargaining power with suppliers – together, we are the third-largest buyer in the national private pharmaceutical sector.
The d1000 Network’s operations focus on the sale of: (i) medications – which include branded (prescription-only medications), generics, and OTC/MIPS (over-the-counter/nonprescription medications); (ii) personal hygiene, beauty and dermocosmetic products (“HB”) and (iii) convenience products (“Products”).
About the Project
The new space features 280 workstations in a shared workstation format with steel structures and accessory details that accommodate the entire cable infrastructure dedicated to logic, electrical, and telephone systems. These cables can be easily accessed for adjustments and maintenance, providing convenience and synergy for employees. Comfortable meeting rooms, modular tables for directors, a pleasant and comfortable reception area, as well as a coffee area and common area make up this space designed to accommodate the network’s growth and reflect the brand’s dynamic identity with integrated environments, vibrant colors, and a focus on humanizing work.
Highlights include acoustic booths that provide comfort and privacy for important conversations that require confidentiality.
Construction management by @JP.Projects – Architecture and Engineering ensured efficient, high-quality delivery of a functional space aligned with the growth of one of the largest healthcare groups in the country.
