Challenge
The IBP – Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo promotes development in its sector, aiming at a competitive, ethical and socially responsible industry. With more than 50 years as a non-profit entity, the company found itself in a moment of restructuring and expansion of the headquarters.
The company wanted to modernize the facilities, optimize and rationalize spaces, adapt the furniture to the company’s values, in addition to offering greater comfort to employees and customers.
Solution
To meet the company’s needs, a radical renovation was necessary, as the existing facilities had more than twenty years of furniture. The environments needed to reflect the moment of restructuring of the institute.
The requirements were: furniture with flexibility, resistance and few elements facilitating layout changes, environmental certification, ergonomics and characteristics to guarantee a longer useful life. With these questions in mind, we use practical but innovative tables for the staff. In the management stations, the solution was to use functional meeting tables optimized for the available space.
